It is the official Android port of the popular strongSwan VPN solution, specifically developed for Android 4+.
# FEATURES AND LIMITATIONS #

* Uses the IKEv2 key exchange protocol (IKEv1 is currently not supported)
* Only simple username/password EAP authentication is currently supported to authenticate users (namely EAP-MSCHAPv2 and EAP-MD5)
* VPN gateway certificates are verified against the CA certificates installed on the system (or installed by the user)
* The IPsec implementation currently supports the AES and SHA1/SHA2 algorithms only
* Passwords are currently stored as cleartext in the database (only if stored with a profile)
